I'm excited to share that I was recently featured in VoyageLA Magazine in their Hidden Gems interview series!
In the interview, I share more about my journey into counselling, the experiences that shaped my work, and my passion for supporting women who feel consumed by food, their bodies, and the exhausting cycle of disordered eating.
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, my work focuses on helping women navigate eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns. I know that struggles with food and body image can take up so much mental space, making it difficult to feel present in your life or enjoy things that matter to you.
I'm passionate about creating a space where women can explore their relationship with food and their bodies without judgment, shame, or pressure to meet unrealistic expectations. Recovery isn't just about changing your relationship with food — it's about having more room for the rest of your life.
Being able to share more about my work and the values behind Hazyl J Counselling through this interview is something I'm grateful for.
